The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), an affiliate of Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), has partnered with Al-Riyada University for Science and Technology to strengthen students’ digital skills and improve their employment prospects.
The two institutions signed the cooperation protocol in Cairo on 21 September 2026. Under the agreement, NTI will provide students and graduates with training through its advanced technology programmes while helping them build skills that match current labour market demands.
The partnership will also promote joint work in scientific research and innovation. Both institutions plan to strengthen the link between higher education and the evolving needs of Egypt’s technology sector.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Riyada University for Science and Technology and former Minister of Education, signed the protocol on behalf of the university. Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecommunication Institute, represented NTI.
The institutions signed the agreement at NTI’s headquarters in Smart Village, with representatives from both organisations attending the ceremony.
